Although white is a neutral color, it can make a room look dull and cold. This dining/living room has a warmer new look that makes it look much cozier.

 

 

 

 

You can play with a darker color on a wall that has a point of natural light. As you can see, the window in the middle has become the new focal point of this room, while before it was blending with the white of the wall.

 

 

 

Accent walls are a very inexpensive and easy way to add some character to any room. 

 

 

 

Although pink works perfectly in this color scheme, this little girl was ready to leave behind baby colors for more teen colors. We picked one of the hues from her new duvet cover and used it as an inspiration to build a new color palette for the entire room.
